Noteflight is a free online music composition and sharing tool. Now, why, you might ask, is this relevant to library services to Latino children? 

Well, ask yourself this: Have you ever come across a song in Spanish that you wanted to use for a story time, but because you didn't grow up with it and don't know the tune, you can't use it? Do you find yourself using translations of English songs that you already know instead of authentic Latin American or Spanish songs? Are you one of the many people who can't play piano and can't sing from sheet music? Can't find anyone who knows the song to teach it to you? 

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then noteflight can help you! 

Noteflight allows you to enter the sheet music for that song you've been wanting to learn into a blank page of sheet music, and then play it back to yourself. 

The interface is very easy to use, and it can play it back in a variety of ways. You can even save it in a different format and then play it back along with yourself while you sing!

To use Noteflight you must set up a free user account, and you can choose to share your songs with others, or keep them private. 

The free account comes with up to 25 different scores, and you can easily include more than one song on the same score to allow you even more space to save songs!
